Antonio Nadal Destilerías tiene su origen en Mallorca, en 1898, cuando su fundador, Antonio Nadal Muntaner, decide empezar a producir industrialmente, siempre con métodos artesanos, los licores tradicionales de la isla de Mallorca, utilizando su viejo alambique de cobre que funcionaba entonces. La empresa ANTONIO NADAL es una empresa dinámica y en constante evolución, hechos importantes dados por los valores de una familia que cree mucho en sus productos y en su manera de hacer.La actividad de ANTONIO NADAL ha conocido un constante crecimiento gracias a la diversificación de sus servicios y productos y al aumento de su cartera de clientes, adquiriendo una gran confianza, fidelidad y credibilidad. Actualmente ANTONIO NADAL S.A. cuenta con un gran equipo humano formado por unas 40 personas y fabrica y comercializa alrededor de 180 tipos de bebidas diferentes. De todos estos productos destacan el PALO TUNEL y las TUNEL DE MALLORCA ambos protegidos mediante la Denominación Geográfica del Palo de Mallorca y la Denominación Geográfica de las Hierbas de Mallorca respectivamente.
El mercado de ANTONIO NADAL.
Es fundamentalmente en las Islas Baleares donde Antonio Nadal está presente en todos los segmentos del sector. También tiene una gran presencia en la costa mediterránea de la península Ibérica y en las Islas Canarias. La presencia en estos lugares se convierte en un hecho estratégico para la empresa en el momento de la exportación a otros países ya que actúa como un mostrador internacional para el turismo.Actualmente exporta a países europeos como Portugal, Alemania, Italia, Bélgica, Andorra, Luxemburgo, Inglaterra, Rusia, Ucrania, Bielorrusia, Letonia, Estonia, Chipre, Chequia, Eslovaquia, Hungría, Grecia y Holanda. También ha empezado a exportar durante los últimos 3 años a países de Sudamérica y Asia, como Perú, Corea, Japón, China o India.
Expansión.
Antonio Nadal S.A. se concentra actualmente en la expansión hacia nuevos mercados europeos y fuera de la Unión Europea, puntos estratégicos y fundamentales para la supervivencia futura de una empresa con solidez y estabilidad empresarial. La expansión en mercados exteriores se basa sobre todo en el licor de hierbas TUNEL DE MALLORCA que es el producto con más popularidad gracias a la influencia del turismo de las Islas Baleares.
El Túnel.
La fábrica TÚNEL ha invertido durante el trienio 2009-2012 en una nueva remodelación integral de sus instalaciones ubicadas en el polígono de Marratxí. Esta remodelación ha tenido como finalidad dos objetivos principales: por una parte, la rehabilitación integral del edificio con el fin de optimizarlo (en materia de eficiencia energética) y modernizarlo con nuevos servicios, como la creación de una sala para formación de bartenders y mixología, enfocada en el desarrollo de los productos de coctelería de Antonio Nadal S.A. y, por otra parte, la remodelación de sus instalaciones, nuevas líneas de embotellado, nuevos procesos de elaboración automatizados y la ampliación de nuevos equipos de laboratorio para el departamento de Calidad e I+D, todo ello con el fin de poder atender con eficiencia su crecimiento y desarrollo a nivel internacional.
Plantaciones.
Las 7 hierbas aromáticas obligatorias por la Indicación Geográfica Protegida de Hierbas de Mallorca son:

MANZANILLA (Matricaria spp.)
NARANJO (Citrus Sinensis)
LIMONERO (Citrus Limon)
ROMERO (Rosmarinus officinalis)
MELISA (Melissa oficinallis)
HINOJO (Foeniculum vulgare).
Los cultivos.
Antonio Nadal S.A. tiene en propiedad y gestión su propia plantación de hierbas aromáticas, las cuales están cultivadas con criterios ecológicos, respetando sobre todo las plantas y su entorno. Este aspecto de gestión nos proporciona una máxima calidad. Para obtener las hierbas aromáticas realizamos 3 cosechas al año mediante la poda o siega.Después de cada cosecha las hierbas se secan con el uso de la energía solar con un sistema innovador. Como resultado obtenemos las hierbas secas las cuales podaremos hasta obtener la hoja limpia que irá directamente al depósito de maceración para ya realizar el licor de hierbas Túnel de Mallorca.
Elaboración.
En nuestra sala de elaboración o sala de mezclas podemos elaborar hasta 80.000 litros diarios de producto. Para poder conseguir esta capacidad tenemos desarrollado un sistema integral automatizado para la elaboración de todos nuestros productos garantizando la trazabilidad de todas las materias primas. Disponemos para ello de 10 mezcladoras con diferente tecnología de mezcla y con capacidad de elaborar diferentes volúmenes que van desde los 8.000 litros hasta los 600 litros. Como maquinaria auxiliar tenemos un homogeneizador, un pasteurizador, un equipo de bombas y diferentes sistemas de filtrado con sus diferentes materias primas para la filtración. Con todos estos equipos modernos podemos obtener la mejor calidad deseada.
Maceración y Destilación.
En aspectos de producción de materias primas tenemos en control y gestión diferentes maceraciones, así como diferentes tipos de destilaciones para conseguir diferentes extractos para nuestros productos. Destacamos sobre todo nuestras TUNEL DE MALLORCA para las que realizamos una gran maceración en un depósito de acero inoxidable de 11.000 litros para conseguir conjuntar los más de 20 tipos diferentes de hierbas y plantas para obtener nuestro apreciado licor. Este sistema de maceración hidroalcohólica es continuo y regular con sus puntos de control de calidad, lo que nos proporciona el mismo producto siempre. También podemos destacar el Palo TUNEL para el que realizamos diferentes destilaciones de genciana y quina para obtener el extracto necesario que hace posible el Palo Túnel.
Embotellado.
En nuestra sala de embotellado tenemos 5 líneas de embotellado distribuidas de la forma más óptima según la máxima eficiencia productiva. Estas 5 líneas de embotellado tienen una capacidad de producción de más de 30 formatos de botellas de diferente volumen, además, tienen una producción actual de más de 6,5 millones de botellas anuales. Nuestros sistemas de embotellado garantizan tanto la calidad del producto como una buena presencia del envase.
