Territorio.

Calabria oriental era la sede de una floreciente civilización, originada en la colonización griega.
Fue Enòtro, el príncipe arcade, después de desembarcar en nuestras costas a principios del siglo VIII, quien resistió sabiamente el destino de la primera vez entre las colonias griegas que se asentaron en las costas jónicas. El trabajo de Enòtro y su gente, compuesto en gran parte por expertos enólogos, fue tan apreciado que los griegos identificaron estas áreas con el nombre de "Enotria Tellus", que es "Tierra del Vino".




Tradición e investigación.

Durante cuatro generaciones, hemos sido tenaces partidarios de nuestra tierra, su riqueza y lo que ha representado, representa y, sobre todo, lo que representará en el futuro para el mundo del vino. Partimos de la tradición, de Gaglioppo, del griego y de la gran cantidad de variedades indígenas presentes en el territorio de nuestra región. Partimos de los retoños y portainjertos utilizados históricamente en la zona, así como de las enseñanzas de nuestros expertos enólogos con su habilidad que tiene sus raíces en los siglos de historia de la vinicultura de Cirotano. Luego recurrimos a los mejores expertos en el sector del vino y el vino, porque sabíamos que un trabajo de investigación meticuloso nos permitiría arreglar, preservar y mejorar nuestro patrimonio vitivinícola. Este siempre ha sido nuestro objetivo y nuestro pedido a la comunidad científica. Lejos de querer inventar o modificar algo, a través de la ciencia simplemente queríamos entender mejor y definitivamente lo que teníamos a nuestra disposición. Hoy sabemos que la intuición inicial era correcta y también sabemos que algunas de las páginas más hermosas de la enología de Calabria aún no se han escrito.




Vinos.

En función de las zonas tenemos:
- IGT Calabria.
Calabria, una armonía de paisajes, historia, arte y valores. Nuestros viñedos se encuentran en Val di Neto y se encuentran a unos ocho kilómetros cuando el cuervo vuela desde el Mar Jónico y unas pocas docenas desde el Sila. Por lo tanto, se caracterizan por un mayor rango de temperatura en comparación con las zonas costeras. En términos de suelo, aunque existe una gran diversidad, existe una concentración promedio de piedra caliza en comparación con Cirotano.
- Doc Ciró.
Es la zona vinícola más importante de Calabria. Con una tradición de más de mil años, es un área de DOC bastante grande y parcelada, compuesta de áreas planas cercanas al mar y colinas montañosas que se desarrollan tierra adentro, mirando hacia el norte y el sur. Los suelos son de naturaleza diferente y varían de áreas aluviales a arcillas margosas. El clima es generalmente templado. Este es el hogar de Gaglioppo y Greco Bianco.

Área doc. Adyacente a la de Cirò, muy grande pero mucho menos densamente plantada. Las áreas más cultivadas son las internas, principalmente en los municipios de Melissa y Strongoli. Los suelos, en promedio calcáreos-arcillosos, se prestan a la producción de rojos agradables y afrutados y blancos frescos y aromáticos. Los viñedos son principalmente Gaglioppo con una parte más pequeña de Greco bianco.
