Español [ ES ]La ginebra Iron Balls está concebida y diseñada por Ashley Sutton, que decidió emprender el proyecto de elaborar una ginebra en Tailandia. Fue su microdestilería R. Sutton & Co. Enginers, situada en el corazón de la ciudad de Bangkok, la primera en conseguir la licencia en 30 años. Bajo el lema «siempre tienes opciones si tienes pelotas», Sutton tardó tres años y medio en empezar la producción de su Iron Balls. La base alcohólica está elaborada con cocos y piñas, pelados, cortados y mezclados a mano, que se fermentan en tanques. El vino de frutas se destila en alambique de cobre de dos columnas para obtener el destilado. Aunque la receta es secreta, esta base se macera con una selección de 15 botánicos entre los que se encuentran las indispensables bayas de enebro, citronela, nuez moscada tostada, canela de la India, semillas de cilantro y ginseng. Una ginebra con aromas y sabores de fruta tropical y un largo final en boca. El corcho de la botella tiene un anillo de cobre alrededor y una etiqueta con el número de lote escrito a mano, la guinda de un proyecto altamente artesanal. Producción limítadísima. |
