Los inicios de Chivas.
Desde sus humildes comienzos hasta la gran ciudad, el espíritu pionero y generoso de James y John Chivas inspiró el primer whisky de lujo del mundo y más allá. El viaje que emprendieron en su día no tiene un destino final y hoy, más de un siglo después, Chivas sigue explorando caminos. Los hermanos Chivas, que crecieron en una remota granja escocesa, eran muy conscientes de que el mundo a su alrededor estaba cambiando y que el idílico telón de fondo que llamaban su hogar les quedaba pequeño para hacer realidad el deseo de marcar la diferencia. Así, iniciaron un viaje a pie desde su granja natal hasta Aberdeen, una ciudad que se ajustaba perfectamente a sus ambiciones. Al encontrar un trabajo remunerado en un emporio de Aberdeen, James se sintió rápidamente cautivado por todo un nuevo mundo de sabores, olores y sabores exquisitos. En las manos de James, todo parecía posible y rápidamente se ganó una gran reputación, capaz de obtener lo para muchos era inalcanzable. Así, tras la decisión de John de participar en el negocio, nació Chivas Brothers.
