Caves Nadal: Brand.
Español [ ES ]La figura de Ramón Nadal Giró.
Nació en 1903, justo cuando en el Alt Penedès habían iniciado la replantación de los viñedos asoladas por la filoxera. Su espíritu emprendedor le empujó los años de la Guerra Civil a enviar alcohol de su destilería en una bodega de la Mancha alquilado para hacer mistelas, actividad que le reportó considerables ganancias que supo reinvertir. En 1941 replantar la viña que el ejército había convertido en aeródromo durante la guerra y construyó, a veinte metros bajo tierra, la cava fundacional, que aún hoy vela los productos más apreciados de la bodega. El espíritu inquieto y emprendedor de Ramon Nadal Giró nos ha guiado a lo largo de los años para mantener el nivel de calidad y exigencia de nuestros espumosos y vinos blancos. En homenaje a él nació la RNG10, el producto más emblemático de nuestra gama, que hace honor a nuestra historia con sus iniciales.
Con motivo del 75 aniversario de la vendimia del primer espumoso, sale al mercado el RNG20, una edición limitada de 1.049 Mágnums de la cosecha 1.997.
La finca que da nombre a la bodega.
Nadal es una bodega con una larga tradición en el cultivo de la uva y Finca Nadal de la Boadella una finca con 43 parcelas de viñedos donde la edad media de las cepas es de 30 años, con lo que se asegura una buena maduración de los racimos. Tradición, experiencia, largas crianzas, junto con algo de tecnología y un riguroso control de todo el proceso caracterizan a Nadal, este elaborador de cavas y vinos blancos situado en la zona del Penedés: blancos nobles, cavas de producción anual y cavas de añadas excepcionales. Nadal se ubica en la finca que le da nombre, en la región del Penedès (Barcelona). Una bodega dedicada fundamentalmente a la producción de cava, que también elabora vino blanco acogido a la D.O. Penedès. La finca Nadal cuenta con una tradición centenaria ligada al cultivo del viñedo y la elaboración de vino. Su historia moderna comenzó en 1941 de manos de Ramón Nadal Giró, fundador de la bodega Nadal y responsable de replantar los viñedos de la finca que fueron arrancadas para construir un aeródromo. En 1943 inició la elaboración de cava. Actualmente la finca Nadal está dividida en 43 parcelas, con viñas de edad media avanzada, de las variedades macabeo, xarel.lo, parellada y pinot noir, cuidadas con mucho esmero, siguiendo las pautas del cultivo integrado o "viticulture raisoneé". Nadal elabora exclusivamente a partir de sus propios viñedos.
