Vin de Pays Loire is located in La región vinícola del valle del Loira e incluye las regiones vitivinícolas francesas situadas a lo largo del río Loira desde la región de Muscadet cerca de la ciudad de Nantes, en la costa atlántica, hasta la región de Sancerre y Pouilly-Fumé justo al sureste de la ciudad de Orléans, en el centro norte de Francia. En el medio están las regiones de Anjou, Saumur, Bourgueil, Chinon y Vouvray. El Valle del Loira sigue el río a través de la provincia del Loira a los orígenes del río en Cévennes, pero la mayoría de la producción de vino se lleva a cabo en las regiones mencionadas anteriormente.
