La AOC Sancerre está situada un poco más al norte del centro geografico de Francia, a la margen izquierda del río Loire. Controla y regula unas 2800 has. de viñedo de las variedades sauvignon blanc, para blancos, y pinot noir para rosados y tintos, en una zona jurisdiccional de 14 comunas, bajo un clima continental moderado por el Loira. Una clasificación general de los suelos distingue: Al oeste "terres blanches" de composición arcillo, calcárea, los "caillottes", pedregosos y calcáreos, y los arcillo-silíceos "chailloux o silex" hacia el este. El tipo de vino Sancerre se produce en Bannay, Bué, Crézancy, Menetou-Râtel, Ménétréol, Montigny, Saint-Satur, Sainte-Gemme, Sancerre (incluidos Amigny y Chavignol), Sury-en-Vaux (incluido Maimbray), Thauvenay, Veaugues , Verdigny y Vinon. Historia.

Las mujeres y los hombres nunca han dejado de trabajar por la calidad, reconocido este término al obtener el AOC en 1936 para el Sancerre blanco. En 1959, los vinos tintos y rosados, producidos a partir de Pinot Noir, fueron clasificados también como AOC. Se han puesto en marcha muchas iniciativas colectivas para perseguir continuamente la búsqueda de la excelencia.
El medio ambiente primordial.
Fervientes defensores de su tierra y sensibles a la biodiversidad, los viticultores desean ofrecer actividades que respeten el medio ambiente. Por lo tanto, se encargan de reducir el uso de plástico, para optimizar la recolección, clasificación y reciclaje de residuos. Dentro de la Maison des Sancerre y durante los eventos, los enólogos también dan la máxima preferencia a los productos compostables o biodegradables y eligen trabajar con los comerciantes locales para promover los cortocircuitos. El respeto por el medio ambiente está en el corazón del ADN de la denominación. Cada año, los enólogos de Sancerre lanzan una acción a favor del medio ambiente. En el pasado, se han distinguido plantando árboles y setos con el proyecto "un enólogo-un árbol". En 2019, van aún más lejos en su deseo de combinar la viticultura y el desarrollo sostenible con la creación e instalación de cajas de nidos de murciélagos. Estos pequeños animalitos tienen la ventaja de comer polillas, cuya larva, llamada gusano racimo, destruye las uvas. Una iniciativa que es muy bienvenida en este momento cuando estamos tratando de reducir los insumos y pesticidas. A nivel departamental, siguiendo la ley EGalim promulgada en 2018, se está redactando un estatuto "ribereño". Es una carta de compromiso para productores y residentes locales que garantiza la seguridad de todos en términos de tratamiento. Finalmente, la FUVC (Federación de Sindicatos del Vino del Centro), creó a principios de 2019 una comisión de "sostenibilidad", que ha definido varias líneas de trabajo:
Reciclaje y gestión de residuos; prácticas culturales como son deshierbe, anti botritis, fertilizante; Prácticas enológicas; paisajes, biodiversidad, embellecimiento. El objetivo es lograr una carta ambiental adoptada por los viticultores.
Los vinos y sus uvas.
El Sancerre Blanco están llenos de fruta y ofrecen aromas que combinan mineralidad y cítricos. El ataque se derrite en una boca rica y redonda. El Sancerre Rouge, hecho de Pinot Noir, los vinos tintos ilustran las virtudes de la variedad de uva al ofrecer un ramo de cerezas y guindas. En boca son firmes, llenos y largos. Production region |
The production region of A.O.C. Sancerre is located in La región de Sancerre, en la parte oriental del valle del Loira, al sureste de Orleans. Casi toda la denominación se encuentra en la orilla izquierda del Loira, frente a Pouilly-Fumé. Está bien considerado y principalmente asociado con Sauvignon blanc. La ciudad se encuentra en un afloramiento de la tiza que corre desde los acantilados blancos de Dover hasta Champagne y Chablis. Una serie de pequeños valles atraviesa la tiza, cada uno con sus propios suelos, microclima y terroir. En el este se encuentran los "pedernales" que producen vinos minerales de larga vida. Entre la ciudad y Verdigny el suelo consiste en marga y grava, produciendo vinos afrutados y bien equilibrados. Y en el sudoeste, lejos del río hacia Menetou-Salon, los caldos "terres blanches" (tierra blanca) producen vinos más pesados. |
